Refund Policy
Our approach to refunds on subscriptions and one-time purchases. We aim to be fair and clear — if something goes wrong, reach out and we'll work with you.

24-hour refund shield on any first-time purchase
If this is your first time buying anything on AstroLumina — a subscription or a one-time report — and you change your mind within 24 hours of payment, we will refund you in full. No questions asked. This applies one time per account.
To claim, email hello@astrolumina.app from the address on your account with your payment reference. We process first-purchase refunds within 3 business days.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions (₹299 / $5.99) are prepaidand non-refundable beyond the 24-hour first-purchase shield. Because we don't auto-charge your card, there's no cancellation step — when your 30 days of access end, you simply return to the free tier on your own.
If your monthly charge went through in error (duplicate charge, wrong account, payment processor issue), contact us within 30 days and we will investigate and refund where appropriate.
Yearly subscriptions
Yearly subscriptions (₹1,999 / $39.99) are eligible for a pro-rated refund within the first 7 days of purchase. The refund covers the unused portion of the year. After 7 days, yearly purchases are non-refundable.
Yearly Premium is prepaid — we don't auto-charge your card — so there are no “future renewals” to cancel. When your 365 days of access end, you simply return to the free tier until you decide to renew.
One-time reports (Kundali, Compatibility, Yearly Roadmap)
One-time digital reports are delivered instantly upon payment and are generally non-refundable — except under the 24-hour first-purchase shield above, or in cases of clear technical failure where the report could not be generated.
If your report was generated but you believe it has a material defect (missing sections, broken calculations), email us with a description and we will re-run or refund at our discretion.
How to request a refund
Send an email to hello@astrolumina.app from the email address linked to your AstroLumina account. Include:
- The payment reference or Razorpay/Stripe transaction id
- The date of purchase
- A short reason (for our records — not a test)
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
On pro-rated yearly refunds: the pro-rated amount is calculated from the date you requestthe refund (when your email lands in our inbox), not the date we finish processing it. You don't lose window time waiting for our reply.
Chargebacks and disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, please email us first. We resolve the vast majority of requests faster than a bank dispute and with less paperwork on your side. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay your refund and automatically revokes your Premium access until the dispute is resolved.
Fraudulent chargebacks on legitimate purchases may result in account suspension.
What isn't covered
- Dissatisfaction with astrological, tarot, numerology, or palm-reading content — insights are interpretive and provided for reflection purposes (see our Terms of Service)
- Refunds requested after the windows above
- Purchases made through third-party app stores — those are governed by the store's refund policy (Apple, Google)
- Access revoked due to violation of our Terms of Service
Outside these windows, we'll still review case-by-case if you email hello@astrolumina.app. We're not here to trap anyone — if life got in the way of your billing window, tell us what happened and we'll work with you in good faith.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be surfaced in-app for active subscribers.
