These terms explain the rules for using AstroLumina on web.

Using the app

  • Eligibility: you must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction.
  • Personal use: AstroLumina is intended for personal guidance and reflection.
  • Respectful use: do not abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt other users.

Sign-in and sessions

You can sign in with Google, Apple, or choose Continue as guest. Guest sessions are anonymous.

Astrology and informational disclaimer

AstroLumina is intended for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal guidance purposes only. Astrology insights, tarot readings, numerology, palm readings, and all other content on the platform are interpretive and provided for informational purposes.

AstroLumina is not a substitute for professional advice, including but not limited to medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or relationship counseling. We do not provide diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or clinical advice of any kind.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health concern, please consult a licensed healthcare professional. If you are in crisis or require urgent support, contact your local emergency services or a recognized crisis helpline.

You understand and agree that your use of AstroLumina is at your own discretion and that you will not rely on its content to make medical, financial, legal, or other significant life decisions without consulting a qualified professional.

Your content and inputs

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. If you choose to save your birth details or reflections, you can manage or remove them from within the app.

Subscriptions, payments, and billing

AstroLumina offers optional paid plans (Premium Monthly and Premium Yearly) and one-time reports. All plans are prepaid — when you buy a plan, you pay once and receive a fixed period of access (30 days for monthly, 365 days for yearly). We do not auto-charge your card, do not enrol you in recurring billing, and do not store your card details. All card data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors (Razorpay in India, Stripe for international customers).

Pricing: the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. AstroLumina is not currently GST-registered, so no separate tax is added at checkout. Prices may change at any time; any change applies only to new purchases and never retroactively to existing prepaid access.

Cancellation: because we don't auto-charge your card, there is no cancellation step. Your access period simply expires on its own and you return to the free tier. Refund eligibility is described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Chargebacks: filing a chargeback without first contacting us automatically revokes your Premium access until the dispute is resolved. Fraudulent chargebacks on legitimate purchases may result in account suspension. If you have a billing concern, email us first at hello@astrolumina.app — most concerns resolve faster than a bank dispute and with less paperwork on your side.

Account deletion and data removal

You can delete your account and clear your data from within Settings.

Service availability and liability

AstroLumina is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim for reliable uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of {appName} is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,000 if no payment was made.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of AstroLumina shall be resolved first by good-faith email correspondence with us at hello@astrolumina.app. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other non-waivable local consumer-protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes affecting paying members, surface a notice in-app before the change takes effect.
