Privacy Policy

• Account info: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information such as your email and display name, as provided by the identity provider.
• Birth details you provide: for example, birth date, birth time, and birth location. These are used to generate your astrology insights.
• Purchase records: if you buy a subscription or report, we record the plan, amount, payment reference id, and entitlement period. We do not see or store your card or UPI details — those are handled exclusively by our PCI-compliant payment processors (Razorpay in India, Stripe for international customers).
• Palm photographs (optional feature): if you use the palm reading feature, your photo is sent to our backend for analysis and cached by its content hash for 90 days. You can request deletion at any time.
• Usage analytics (optional): if you consent, we collect product analytics to improve reliability and user experience. You can opt out at any time from the cookie banner.

• Personalization: to generate charts, guidance, and insights based on the information you enter.
• Subscription management: to grant, renew, and revoke access to paid features based on your purchase history.
• Security & reliability: to keep the app functioning safely, prevent abuse (including rate-limit enforcement), and investigate fraud.
• Product improvement: only when you consent to analytics.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers beyond the anonymous conversion pings required by Google Ads (which never include your birth details or content).

When you make a purchase, your card or UPI details are submitted directly to our payment processor (Razorpay for INR transactions, Stripe for USD transactions) and never pass through or get stored by AstroLumina. We receive only a payment reference id, the amount, and a success/failure status — enough to grant the entitlement you paid for and satisfy our refund and accounting obligations.

Razorpay and Stripe are PCI-DSS certified and handle card data according to their own privacy policies. (Razorpay, Stripe).

We retain your account and purchase history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we retain purchase records for the minimum period required by Indian tax and accounting law (currently 7 years) with all personally-identifying fields redacted; astrology inputs (birth data, reflections, reading history) are deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

You can use AstroLumina by signing in with Google, Apple, or by choosing Continue as guest. Guest sessions are anonymous.

You can delete your account and clear your data from within Settings. This action is intended to remove your profile and associated app data.

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data from Settings at any time. You can also withdraw analytics consent from the cookie banner. If you need help exercising any of these rights, email us at the address below and we will respond within 2 business days.
